When the wind blows I get excited. When the wind really blows, I get really excited. Sunday on Turnagain Arm was no different. Gusting to 50 mph and raining sideways seemed like a perfect training day, for the Bering Strait expedition. Well it was, and so much more. SuperDave and I managed to pull off a good session despite, outrageously gusty conditions.........and despite four stitches in my thumb, my lost kite(due to a broken line), and thanks to Dave for towing me back to shore. Make no mistake, it was WINDY. A check on the internet showed gusts to 69 mph while we were out there....having fun!! Or something like that.
