This is Dan, on the right. He has been a good friend since I attempted the Bering Strait in 2005. He's still the 'go to' guy for anything in Wales or on the Bering Strait. He's honest, kind, fun, and knows more than anyone around. He's been in Wales most of his life and has an understanding and knowledge of this area and the weather conditions, like no one I have ever met. I have to say I'm happy to have him on board again for this expedition, not only as a friend, but as a resource on just about everything!. He has been a huge help in getting this expedition off the ground and we consult him daily for advice and guidance. Make no mistake, Dan is the MAN!!
